Saw these guys open for Oh no Ono and Bear in Heaven last night. They were a great surprise. I love when the opener you’ve never heard of is just as good as the bands you came to see. Crazy they are unsigned, I doubt it will be that way much longer.
Tonight Bear in Heaven plays at Mercury Lounge. I’m taking my flip cam to see how it performs.

Wayne Coyne is a fantastic musician and an even stranger person. You can see him taking a bath on Google’s streetview of his house in OKC. Being a native of Oklahoma I can personally attest to the odd fondness that even the most straight-laced residents of OKC have for him and The Flaming Lips.
